Coastal Kids Holiday Program 

Clothing and Equipment List

 

The following list outlines the clothing and equipment that Land’s Edge recommends be brought with you on your program. The list has been developed so that all activities and weather scenarios are catered for.


 

 

Waterproof Jacket

Mid thigh length with hood, zipper or button up front.  Must be 100% waterproof and tear resistant.  Please no lined or padded jackets

 

1 Pair of running shoes

Pair of sturdy shoes for walking and keeping dry.  No thongs or sandals

 

1 Pair of water shoes 

Water shoes are compulsory when participating in activities at Chowder Bay No thongs 

 

t-shirts

Long sleeve for sun protection if possible. Singlets or tops that expose the shoulder are not suitable.

 

1 pair of long pants

Recommended for cooler or overcast days

 

1 warm jumper

Wool or polar fleece – not cotton.

 

Swimmers

One piece costume preferred

 

Sun hat/sunglasses

Preferably a broad brimmed hat or at least a cap

 

Daypack

To carry items to and from daily activities.

 

Water bottle

You must be able to carry a minimum of 1 litre of water.  Recycled plastic bottles are suitable

 

Sunscreen

50+ water resistant

 

Towel


 

Garbage/Shopping bag

To place wet shoes and clothes into for transport

 

Personal medication

Any medication you are currently taking

 

Lunch and snacks

Students are required to bring their own lunch and snacks for this day.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • The program will continue in most weather conditions. Please ensure you or your child are aware of the weather forecast for the day and have packed accordingly.
